Obverse description Conjoined busts of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II in right-facing profile, both wearing imperial crowns and formal regalia. George VI is depicted in military dress with decorations visible on the chest, while Elizabeth II appears behind and slightly overlapping his portrait. The effigies are rendered in high relief with fine sculptural detail. The legend encircles the design, divided between the two monarchs' names.

Reverse description A Canada goose in dynamic flight occupies the central field, wings fully extended and neck outstretched, rendered in bold naturalistic detail after Alex Colville's celebrated design. The bird is depicted in left-facing flight, positioned above the date 1965 in the lower central field. The inscription CANADA appears along the lower border within the legend, while TWENTY FIVE TOKENS arcs across the upper periphery. The design exhibits exceptional artistic vitality, characteristic of Colville's contributions to Canadian coinage imagery.
