| Obverse description | The Somali national arms occupies the central field, depicting a shield horizontally striped and charged with a five-pointed star, surmounted by a mural crown. Two leopards serve as supporters, one on each flank, rampant and facing inward. Below the shield, a crossed palm branch and olive branch are tied with a ribbon. The circular legend 'REPUBLIC OF SOMALIA' arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination '25 SHILLINGS' is inscribed along the lower arc. The entire design is framed by a beaded border. |
