| Obverse description | Central field features the traditional Nepalese royal cipher of King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev, rendered within an ornate panelled cartouche divided into four registers bearing the king's full name in Devanagari script. The top panel reads 'Shri Shri' above the cartouche, while decorative floral and symbolic ornaments occupy the lateral panels. The Bikram Sambat date 2053 appears in the lower register. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
