| Obverse description | Central field features the large Devanagari numeral '25' (पचीस) rendered prominently as the denomination. A circular Devanagari legend around the upper periphery reads the royal name and titles of King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Deva, while the lower portion of the field bears the inscription 'पचीस रुपैयाँ' (Twenty-Five Rupees) and 'नेपाल' (Nepal) alongside the Vikram Samvat date 2042.
