| Reverse description | The central device depicts the Gold State Coach in detailed relief, shown in left-facing profile with ornate bodywork, spoked wheels, and a coachman seated at the reins, commemorating the coronation procession of Queen Elizabeth II. Below the coach, the denomination 25 RUPEES is inscribed in two lines across the lower field. The commemorative legend CORONATION ANNIVERSARY OF QUEEN ELIZABETH II curves along the upper periphery, while the dual dates 1953 · 1993 appear at the base, marking the 40th anniversary of the coronation. The proof surfaces display strong contrast between the mirrored fields and the frosted devices. |

| Additional information |
The 40th anniversary of Elizabeth II's coronation prompted a wave of commemorative issues across Commonwealth territories in 1993, most of them forgettable. Seychelles had only been issuing its own coinage since independence in 1976, making this a relatively early commemorative from a mint program still establishing its own numismatic identity.
KM#63 was struck in a limited collector issue with no circulation mandate — standard practice for Seychelles silver commemoratives of this period, which were produced primarily for export to the collector market rather than domestic use.
