| Obverse description | At center, the Russian State Emblem — a double-headed eagle displayed, crowned with two imperial crowns surmounted by a third, bearing a shield on its breast depicting St. George slaying the dragon; the eagle holds an orb in its right talon and a scepter in its left. The curved legend РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ (Russian Federation) arcs along the upper rim, with two rhombus-shaped mint marks flanking the eagle at mid-field. To the lower left appears the fineness designation Ag 925, and to the lower right the weight indicator 155,5, with the Moscow Mint monogram (ММД) below it.
