| Obverse description | At centre, the official emblem of the Bank of Russia — a double-headed eagle with wings lowered — is depicted within a beaded circle. A semicircular inscription below the eagle reads 'БАНК РОССИИ' (Bank of Russia). The outer legend along the upper rim bears the denomination 'ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ' (Twenty Five Roubles). In the lower portion, flanking the year of issue '2014 г.', are the precious metal designation and fineness ('Ag 925') to the left and the fine metal content in troy ounces along with the Moscow Mint monogram (ММД) to the right. |
