| Obverse description | Black on purple and grey underprint. The face bears the title «РАЗМЕННЫЙ ЧЕКЪ» in ornate lettering at top, with the denomination «ДВАДЦАТЬПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ» in a decorative panel below. The Krasnoyarsk Yenisei Provincial Society of Mutual Credit was one of dozens of cooperative credit institutions that began issuing emergency scrip across Siberia once the Bolshevik advance disrupted conventional banking. By 1919, the entire Yenisei region was operating under White Army administration — Kolchak's forces controlled the Trans-Siberian corridor through Krasnoyarsk — and local mutual credit societies filled the void left by collapsed state banking infrastructure.
Cooperative-issued paper from this period was accepted reluctantly and often traded at steep discount against Kolchak's own Omsk-issued obligations. Krasnoyarsk fell to the Red Army in January 1920, and notes like this one were rendered worthless almost immediately upon Soviet consolidation of the region.
