| Obverse description | A test impression on unwatermarked paper, printed in monochrome grey-brown, with the lower portion bearing an intaglio vignette of Tsar Alexander III within an ornate oval cartouche surmounted by the Imperial crown, flanked by the double-headed eagle and decorative foliate scrollwork. The upper field is occupied by a dense guilloche underprint of repeated Imperial eagle medallions with Cyrillic legends, topped by the Goznak monogram and imprint. The denomination appears in Cyrillic script at lower left. |
