| Reverse description | Against a mirror-polished field, a relief composition depicts three footballers in dynamic play, with one figure controlling the ball amid the movement of his teammates, set against the engraved outlines of a stadium in the background. A broad curved inscription follows the left and upper rim within a polished strip: ВСЕРОССИЙСКОЕ ФИЗКУЛЬТУРНО-СПОРТИВНОЕ ОБЩЕСТВО ДИНАМО-90 ЛЕТ (The All-Russian Sports Society Dynamo — 90 Years), commemorating the 90th anniversary of the Dynamo sports society. The interplay of mirror fields and frosted relief elements gives the design a pronounced proof character. |

Issued ahead of Russia's hosting of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, this coin was part of a multi-year commemorative program the Bank of Russia launched in 2013 when FIFA awarded the tournament. The 169-gram format placed it among the heaviest issues in the Bank's commemorative silver series, a deliberate choice for flagship collector pieces in this program.
Russia's winning bid, announced in December 2010, was later shadowed by a FIFA corruption investigation that implicated the vote itself, though the tournament proceeded in Russia as awarded.
