The centre carries a large decorative vignette with the Cyrillic word РУБЛЕЙ in an ornate banner framed by stylised foliate and wheat-ear devices, with the numeral 25 repeated in four corner medallions and additionally in two lower roundels. Below the central vignette, a text panel states that all credit institutions in Elisabetgrad accept these exchange notes as payment in any amount; a further small cartouche at the bottom centre bears an additional inscription. The overall design relies on typographic ornament rather than engraved pictorial imagery. |
