| Reverse description | The central field depicts an Amur tiger in a prowling stance beside a rocky pond, with aquatic vegetation rendered in fine relief along the water's edge. In the background, a fleeing roe deer is shown in mid-stride against a naturalistic landscape setting, conveying a sense of dynamic tension between predator and prey. The entire composition demonstrates high-relief sculptural modeling characteristic of Russian commemorative proof coinage of the period. The encircling rim legend reads «СОХРАНИМ НАШ МИР» (PROTECT OUR WORLD), positioned along the upper arc of the coin. This reverse was engraved by Igor Sergeevich Komshilov as part of the Bank of Russia's wildlife conservation series. |
