| Reverse description | The reverse, designed by Louis Tamlyn, presents a bold contemporary interpretation of Britannia standing three-quarter length, helmeted and draped, holding a trident in her right hand and a shield adorned with the Union Flag in her left. Behind her figure, a stylised silhouette map of Great Britain occupies the left field, while radiating lines suggestive of a sunburst fill the background. A small trident mintmark appears to the right of the figure, with the engraver's initials 'LWT' incused in the lower right field.
