| Reverse description | The reverse depicts a dynamic scene featuring the hovercraft from the James Bond film 'Die Another Day' (2002), rendered in fine detail against a stylised background incorporating titles of James Bond films from the 2000s. The iconic '007' inscription appears prominently in the field, serving as the central compositional element linking the design to the broader Bond franchise. The overall composition combines cinematic imagery with bold typographic elements in a design celebrating the legacy of the Bond film series during the 2000s decade. |

One of several denominations in the Royal Mint's 2024 James Bond thematic series, this issue focuses specifically on the EON Productions films released between 2000 and 2021 — a span covering the Brosnan exit and the entirety of Daniel Craig's tenure. The series was produced under licence from Eon Productions and Danjaq LLC, the holding company that has controlled Bond intellectual property since Albert R. Broccoli established it in the 1960s specifically to protect the film rights from outside interference.
