Egypt's 25 Piastre notes of this period were produced entirely in-house at the CBE's own facility in Al-Haram — one of relatively few central banks in the Arab world at the time operating a fully domestic printing operation rather than contracting abroad to De La Rue or similar. Ibrahim's tenure as governor was brief, which limits the date range on this signature variety considerably.
