Bradbury Wilkinson handled Egyptian currency printing through much of the mid-twentieth century, and the P#35 series reflects that long working relationship. The 25-piastre denomination sat at a genuinely useful value in daily Egyptian commerce during the early 1960s — low enough for routine transactions, but printed on the same security substrate Bradbury Wilkinson used for higher-value issues in the series.
Two signature combinations are recorded: El-Refay paired with Zendo. Collectors should note that signature pairings on this type do affect scarcity, with some combinations considerably harder to source than others.
