| Obverse description | The obverse is divided into a central vignette and four corner/side panels in a polychrome letterpress design. The central vignette presents a nocturnal scene of Hotel Tegtmeyer (formerly Menckes Hotel) — a half-timbered country house set among dense trees beneath a crescent moon in a blue-green sky. The denomination '25' appears in blue corner panels at left and right, with 'PFG.' below each, while the text panels flanking the vignette carry a two-part verse inscription. The header reads 'BAD-REHBURG.' in bold, and two circular red seal vignettes inscribed 'PROFANUM VULGUS ET ARCEO ODI' appear in the lower corner panels. |
