| Obverse description | Central vignette in brown and ochre tones presents a lithographic view of a village manor or public building partially screened by large deciduous trees, rendered in a fine artistic hand with the artist's signature 'Otto Kaesch' visible at lower right of the vignette. The grey lateral borders carry repeated motifs of sugar beet plants, a regional agricultural symbol. The heading 'Notgeld der Gemeinde Großrudestedt' is inscribed in Gothic script across the upper panel, while the denomination '25' appears in bold numerals at lower left and right; the lower panel bears the redeemability clause, date, and two manuscript signatures above their respective titles. |

The lower right corner bears a printed facsimile of the municipal wax seal of Großrudestedt dated 1681, rendered in red, showing a figure of Justice with scales within the circular legend 'SIEGEL GROSSEN RUDESTEDT'. |
