Obverse description Highly detailed right-facing profile bust of an imperial eagle's head, rendered in high relief with fine feather texture, wearing an elaborate imperial crown adorned with heraldic eagles and cross motifs on its arched panels. The crown is surmounted by a central orb finial. The date 1908 appears in the lower field beneath the eagle's beak, flanked by the coin's inner border. The design is boldly sculptural and naturalistic, characteristic of Wilhelmine-era German medallic art.
