Reverse description The reverse presents a crowned Imperial Eagle standing in right profile atop a low perch, set against a large circular incuse disc that dominates the field. The eagle wears the Imperial Crown and is depicted with naturalistic feather detail, its head turned to face right. The curved legend 'DEUTSCHES REICH' arcs around the upper periphery in bold capital letters separated by small crosses or stops. The date '1908' is inscribed in the lower exergue area beneath the central disc. A beaded border frames the entire design.
