Obverse description Orange and brown Notgeld on a fine guilloche underprint. At upper centre, the heading inscription in Gothic blackletter script reads across the full width; to the left a small vignette of the Suhl town gate with two towers, while the large numeral '25' occupies a central hatched panel, and the denomination abbreviation 'Pfg.' appears in a smaller panel to the right. Below, a three-line validity clause in Gothic script is followed by the facsimile signature of the Magistrat. At the foot, the designer and printer credits are printed in small roman type.

Reverse description Brown and cream reverse with a thick decorative border. A central cream panel carries a finely drawn vignette of a double-barrelled hunting shotgun with sling, rendered in a linear illustrative style alluding to Suhl's renowned arms-manufacturing trade. The denomination numeral '25' appears in each of the four corners, and two elongated lozenge ornaments flank the central panel on left and right. The caption is split between a top and bottom banner in Gothic blackletter script.
