Obverse description The obverse is printed in black, red, and gold on cream paper, divided into three horizontal registers. The upper register contains a banner with a four-line German verse in blue letterpress text. The central black band carries the denomination numeral '25' in large red figures flanked by Pfennig symbols at left and right, with the town coat of arms — a crowned lion above a crenellated wall set within an ornate gold cartouche — positioned centrally. The lower register bears the issuing authority inscription, validity clause, date, and the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister Rommann, all in blue letterpress within a ruled frame.
