| Obverse description | Dark maroon central vignette of cartouche form, printed in two colours (maroon and blue), with the motto 'Sparschaft bringt Barschaft' in bold Gothic blackletter script at centre. The denomination '25' appears to the lower left and 'Pf' to the lower right of the cartouche, flanked by crossed anchor and hammer devices below. An elaborate blue-printed border of folk-art ornamental motifs — including eagles, floral scrolls, and decorative panels — frames the entire note, with the years '1821' and '1921' incorporated in the upper corners. The arc inscription '100 Jahre Städt. Sparkasse Glatz' runs along the upper edge of the central cartouche. |
