| Obverse description | Bicolour letterpress Notgeld note in green and purple. A semicircular arch frames the central vignette inscribed 'Sparkasse der Stadt Uelzen', enclosing a turreted town gate or castle flanked by stylised trees with purple foliage; the denomination '25 Pfennige' is set in a rectangular panel at the top of the arch. Below the vignette, a two-line validity clause reads 'Dieser Gutschein tritt spätestens mit dem 1. Juli 1922 außer Kraft', with the series designation 'Serie: Uhlenköper' at the foot and a serial number in large black Gothic numerals across the upper margin. |
