| Obverse description | Ochre and dark brown Notgeld note with a typographic design dominated by the large purple numeral '25' at centre, flanked by two stylised wheat ear vignettes. The issuer's name 'Sparkasse Twistringen' is rendered in ornate Gothic lettering across the lower half, with the denomination 'Pfennig' repeated to the left and right. Validity text appears in the upper left corner, a reference to public announcement in the Syker Zeitung in the upper right, and the place and date of issue 'Twistringen, den 28.
