Obverse description Olive-green Notgeld note with a decorative black border. At centre, an oval vignette displays the divided heraldic arms of Bismarckhütte — the Silesian eagle on the left and a crowned crossed-hammers device on the right, with the letter 'B' at base — flanked on each side by a pair of crossed hammers. To the left of the vignette, a German-language redemption text states the Gemeindehauptkasse will redeem the note against Reichsgeld until 31 December 1921; to the right, the Gemeinde-Vorstand attribution appears above facsimile signatures for the Bürgermeister and Schöffe. The denomination 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig' is set in bold Gothic script across the top, and the bilingual issuer name 'Gemeinde Bismarckhütte in Oberschlesien / Gmina Bismarckhuta Górny Śląsk' runs along the lower portion, with the printer's imprint 'Louis Koch · Halberstadt' at bottom left.
Obverse lettering Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig

Reverse description Orange and green Notgeld note with a green outer border and a dark inner frame. The upper portion carries the bilingual issuer name 'Gemeinde Bismarckhütte in Oberschlesien / Gmina Bismarckhuta Górny Śląsk' in Gothic script on a white ribbon banner. The central vignette presents an architectural view of the Rathaus (town hall, built 1911), rendered in colour against a light oval ground, with the denomination '25 Pfennig' in large Gothic numerals flanking it on both sides. A green lower panel bears the commemorative inscription in Gothic lettering referencing the Upper Silesian plebiscite of 20 March 1921, with two small white label boxes at either side reading 'Deutschland-Nu...' and 'Polska-Polen'.
