| Obverse description | Central field features the large numeral '25' enclosed within a raised square cartouche. Surrounding the cartouche, the legend reads 'STADT' at top, 'AACHEN' at bottom, 'NOT' at left, and 'MUNZE' at right, all separated by decorative foliate or scroll ornaments. The coin border is defined by a beaded or rope-like rim. The overall design is executed in a bold, utilitarian Art Deco style typical of German Notgeld issues of the early Weimar period. |
