| Obverse description | At centre, the arms of Hagenow — a shield bearing a bishop's bust in mitre and episcopal vestments — are set within a dark diamond-shaped cartouche against an orange-tinted underprint, flanked by the denomination '25' in large numerals to the left and 'Pfg' to the right, with four six-pointed star ornaments at the corners. A Low German verse occupies the upper portion of the note in two columns, while validity text and facsimile signatures of municipal officials appear in the lower left and lower right respectively. |
