| Obverse description | The obverse is framed by an ornate green scrollwork border with Art Nouveau flourishes. A central oval vignette carries an intaglio-style portrait bust of a historical figure wearing a tricorn hat, set against an amber-toned background, flanked by two blocks of Gothic-script text detailing validity and redemption conditions. The denomination "Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig" is printed in large blackletter type in the lower half, above a serial number at bottom left, with the issuing authority "Notgeld der Stadt Rheinsberg" inscribed in a banner across the top and a manuscript signature "Poppe" appearing to the lower right of the vignette. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is dominated by a dense green foliate scrollwork border filling the entire field, with large numerals "25" placed in each of the four corners in a tricolor brown, white, and black treatment. At the centre, a diamond-shaped vignette encloses a polychrome landscape scene of a large glacial erratic boulder surrounded by trees and enclosed by a wrought-iron fence, rendered in a detailed chromolithographic style. The printer's imprint appears in small capitals along the bottom margin. |
| Reverse lettering | 25 OEHMIGKE & RIEMSCHNEIDER, NEU-RUPPIN. |
