Obverse description Pink-toned notgeld on paper with a decorative ornamental border with corner flourishes. The large numeral '25' is printed at the top, flanked on either side by the word 'PFENNIG' arranged vertically along the left and right margins. At centre, a stylised vignette presents the municipal coat of arms of Gadebusch set within a boldly drawn cartouche, beneath which a Low German dialect proverb is inscribed in Gothic script. Validity text and two manuscript signatures appear at the lower portion of the note.
