| Obverse description | The obverse is divided into two tonal zones: a blue upper band bearing the municipality name 'Gangelt' in bold Gothic blackletter, and an orange-salmon lower field carrying the denomination 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig' in large calligraphic script. To the left, a vertical panel in blue and yellow displays the heraldic arms of Gangelt — a rampant lion on a yellow field — above a bold numeral '25' set against a decorative foliate underprint. The issue text, date of 21 August 1921, a handwritten mayoral signature, and a red serial number in letterpress complete the lower portion. |
