| Obverse description | Brown-toned notgeld note printed in letterpress. The upper portion carries two lines of Low German verse in Gothic script reading 'Mit gräune Seep un Pringstunn'n / Dor laten sck kein Brütjams locken.' To the left, the large denomination numeral '25' is set above the word 'PFENNIG' in bold type. To the right, a text panel in cursive script states validity within the city limits until 31 May 1922, followed by the issuing authority 'Rat der Stadt Strelitz i.M.' and a manuscript signature.
