| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by a large central vignette of the Belgard municipal coat of arms rendered in an elaborate Art Nouveau style, with a crowned helmet, dragon supporters, and scrollwork cartouche bearing the inscription 'Belgard a. Pers.' flanked by two classical columns. The denomination '25' appears in a red-bordered panel at upper left, with 'Pfs' in a matching panel at upper right, while the issuer's title 'die Sparkasse der Stadt Belgard' is inscribed across the top. A text panel at left carries the redemption clause in Gothic script, with the denomination written out in full in Gothic letterforms at right, and the serial number and account designation appear at lower left and lower right respectively. |
