Obverse description The obverse is printed in black on cream paper within a decorative geometric border with stylized corner ornaments and chevron side panels. A central circular vignette bears the heraldic coat of arms of Canth, flanked by two tablet-shaped text panels carrying the redemption clause in German script. The denomination numeral '25' appears in each corner, and the issuer legends 'STADT·SPAR·KASSE' and 'STADT CANTH' are set in bold letterpress at the top and bottom respectively, with a manuscript signature of the Magistrat official ('Toppe') at the right.

Reverse description The reverse carries a vigorous battle-scene vignette rendered in fine line engraving, showing infantry and cavalry in close combat with a town silhouette visible in the upper left background. The denomination numeral '25' is set in bold type at the centre bottom, flanked by two scroll cartouches bearing a rhyming German couplet referencing Duke Bartel and the town of Canth. The entire design is enclosed within a hatched geometric border typical of Notgeld issues of the period.
