| Obverse description | The upper register bears the title STADT SALZWEDEL in Gothic blackletter script flanked by orange corner cartouches each carrying the numeral 25 in bold. The central field is divided into three panels: at left, a sower scattering seed across a field; at centre, the quartered civic arms of Salzwedel on an orange and white ground; and at right, a farmworker bundling sheaves. The lower register contains a printed serial number at left, a blackletter redemption text at centre, and the issue date with two manuscript signatures of the Magistrat at right, with the printer's imprint below the lower border. |
