| Obverse description | The note is printed in teal, orange, and black on white paper, with a tripartite layout framed by a bold rectangular border. The centre panel carries the municipal coat of arms of Kranichfeld — a heraldic shield dated 1650 and bearing crane vignettes, one in flight and one standing — flanked on either side by large gothic-script denomination numerals '25' over the word 'Pfennig'; two circular medallions at lower left and right contain, respectively, a wicker basket and a wheat-sheaf with sickle motif.
