| Obverse description | Polychrome letterpress vignette centred on the heraldic shield of Nöschenrode — alternating red and white horizontal stripes surmounted by a red crenellated tower — framed by elaborate green and red acanthus scrollwork. The denomination numeral '25' appears in circular cartouches at each corner, and a flowing ribbon banner carries the issuer inscription 'Gemeinde-Nöschenrode' across the middle field. Below the vignette, the issue date 'Nöschenrode, den 15. Juni 21.' is flanked by the manuscript signatures of the Schulze and the Schöffe, with the printer's imprint along the bottom margin. |
