| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in green, red, and yellow on white paper, enclosed within a red border. A central oval vignette set against a red ground presents a portrait bust of Kurfürst Friedrich I. von Brandenburg in medieval dress, flanked by dense acanthus-scroll ornament in green. The denomination numeral '25' appears within yellow heraldic shield cartouches at upper left and upper right, each lettered 'PFG'. The value in Gothic script, 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig', occupies the central field in large bold letterpress, while the lower register carries the issuer panel 'Friesack / Mark' on a dark cartouche, dated 'im November 1921' at lower right with a facsimile magistrate signature, and a validity clause in small Gothic text at lower left. |
