| Reverse description | The central vignette, signed by artist Wilhelm Johannsen in the lower right margin, presents a finely rendered pen-and-ink style landscape of the local earthwork rampart and church tower captioned "Wall und Kirche", printed in brown-black on an orange-brown underprint against the light blue note ground. Flanking the vignette on the left and right margins, running vertically in Low German dialect, is a patriotic verse in bold sans-serif lettering, with two small inkwell vignettes at lower left and right corners. The denomination panel at foot reads "25 Pfennig 25" in bold Gothic lettering, with the inverted Low German phrases "De golden" and "un grot!" printed in the lower corners. |
