Obverse description Yellow-ground Notgeld note with an ornamental letterpress border enclosing the entire design. Two colour vignettes flank a central figure: at left, a view of the Rathaus (town hall) with a stepped gable and red-tiled roof amid trees; at right, the Burg (castle) ruin set in a riverside landscape. Between them stands a full-length figure of the Roland statue, identified by a scroll cartouche below reading 'Roland am Rathaus', above which the town arms shield is printed. Denomination roundels of '25 Pfg.' appear at lower left and right, with the serial number, validity clause, date '1. Februar 1921', and two facsimile magistrate signatures occupying the lower register.
