| Reverse description | Green underprint with black outer border. A central rectangular vignette presents a colour illustration of a reconstructed Roman fort, identified as the Römerlager Haltern, set against a cloudy sky. Four stanzas of German verse are inscribed in Gothic script across the upper portion; validity text in Gothic script flanks the vignette at left and right. The date 'Haltern, 1. Juni 1921' and the issuing authority 'Der Magistrat' appear below the vignette, accompanied by a manuscript signature. The denomination '25' appears in large Gothic numerals at each corner. The printer's imprint 'Fr. Wilh. Ruhfus Dortmund' is printed in small type along the lower margin. |
