| Obverse description | Light grey underprint with a red rectangular border frame enclosing the entire design. The issuing authority is announced in Gothic blackletter script at the top: "Notgeld der Gemeinde Rellingen" with the administrative district noted below as "(Com. Amtsbezirk Pinneberg)".
