| Obverse description | Tripartite layout in black, red, and olive-green on cream paper. The left and right panels each carry the denomination numeral '25' in bold red on a vertically striped olive underprint, with validity and redemption text in the left panel and the issuing authority inscription in the right. The central vignette, set against a solid black ground, presents a large stylised double-'f' monogram in white, overlaid diagonally by a red ribbon banner lettered 'Notgeld' in script. Above and below the composition run two lines of Gothic blackletter text forming a rhyming couplet. The printer's imprint and designer credit appear in the left and right outer margins respectively. |

The city coat of arms with crossed keys appears in the lower left, while a shield bearing the denomination numeral '25' in red is placed at the lower right.
