| Obverse description | Square-format Notgeld note with a light green border frame. At centre, a stylised vignette of the Altona church tower rising above wavy lines rendered in yellow and black, flanked by the large denomination numerals '25' at left and the cursive abbreviation 'Pf.' at right. The issuing authority legend 'DER MAGISTRAT. ALTONA. ELBE. 12. DEZ. 1921' appears below the vignette, with four manuscript signatures beneath it.
