| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in brown ink and presents a finely engraved landscape vignette set within an arched frame, centered on the cylindrical medieval tower known as the Stumpfer Turm in the Hunsrück region, surrounded by trees and open countryside, with a standing figure in the foreground. A decorative cartouche at the foot of the arch carries the inscription 'Stumpfer Turm-Hunsrück', and below it a circular guilloche panel bears the numeral '25'. A two-line verse runs across the top of the note within a ruled border, and fruit motifs ornament the upper corners. The printer's imprint 'Schaar & Dathe, Trier' appears at the lower margin. |
