Obverse description Red letterpress Notgeld voucher on cream paper with a decorative scalloped border. The heading reads "Stadt Coblenz" in bold Gothic script at top centre, flanked by two circular vignettes each bearing the numeral "25" and the inscription "PFENNIG"; between them, a trident and anchor motif occupies the central axis. The lower half carries the city arms at lower left, a caduceus vignette at lower right, a circular official stamp of the Residenzstadt Coblenz, and a manuscript signature above the printed authority line "Der Oberbürgermeister", with the issue date "Coblenz, den 1. März 1920" in the body text.

Reverse description Printed in olive-grey on cream paper, the reverse is dominated by a dense geometric and foliate underprint pattern covering the entire field, with the words "NOTGELD", "STADT", "COBLENZ", and "RHEIN" repeated across a lattice background. At centre, a large ornamental cartouche in curvilinear script reads "Stadt Coblenz", enclosing the municipal coat of arms; flanking horizontal bands carry the denomination "25 Pfennig Pfennig 25" with the numerals set in bold circular medallions at each end.
