Reverse description Printed on buff paper in black, the reverse carries a panoramic engraved vignette of the historic skyline of Liegnitz (Lignicium), reproduced after an early modern town prospect and showing the walled city with its towers, spires, and fortifications; three figures in period costume are shown in the foreground. The city's heraldic eagle surmounts the vignette, and the Latin place-name LIGINICIUM appears in a small cartouche at the lower right of the panel. Below the vignette a two-line German text states the conditions of validity.
