| Obverse description | The obverse is set against a salmon-beige crosshatch guilloche underprint framed by an ornate dark border with foliate corner flourishes. The denomination 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennige' is rendered in bold blackletter script at the top, followed by text in Gothic typeface indicating payability at the Stadthauptkasse der Stadt Aschersleben, validity date of 31 März 1922, and issue date of 5 März 1920. At lower right, the municipal seal of Aschersleben is impressed, flanked by two manuscript signatures above the authority line 'DER MAGISTRAT', with red numeral '25' denominators at both lateral margins and a note below the signatures indicating this third series was issued in five colours. |
