| Obverse description | Notgeld voucher printed in brown and black on white paper, with an elaborate Art Nouveau-style foliate and scrollwork underprint covering the entire field. A central diamond-shaped vignette contains a townscape of Melle. The denomination numeral '25' appears in large bold Fraktur script within circular cartouches at lower left and right. The issuing authority 'Stadt Melle' is inscribed in Gothic blackletter across the upper register, flanking the central text block, which reads 'Gutschein über fünfundzwanzig Pfennig' with the date 'Melle, 24.
