Reverse description The reverse is dominated by a large, finely engraved panoramic vignette of Saarburg as it appeared around 1800, rendered in a detailed intaglio-style illustration showing the town nestled in a river valley with wooded hills and a castle ruin rising on the heights above; boats are visible on the winding Saar river in the foreground. A decorative scroll banner at the top bears the caption 'Saarburg um 1800.' in gothic script, flanked by the denomination numeral '25' in circular cartouches at upper left and right. The printer's imprint 'SCHAAR & DATHE TRIER' appears in small type at the lower centre.
